#112 – October 25, 2019 – More Mitti Seva Tasks!

Dear Friends,

During Mitti Seva Day, several groups worked on the northern end of the ISHA property, near the site of the Meeting Hall Dome project.

Teams of sevadars repaired damage to the driveway. The damage was caused by an intense rain storm. The teams used shovels to fill the erosional ruts …

… and then stamped down the new gravel.

By the end of the day, the driveway was well repaired.

Two other teams worked to trim back the vegetation along the driveway.

Five other teams performed maintenance on the trail system that winds through the forest between ISHA Hill and the Chippewa River.

And, finally, two sevadar teams worked to install and repair silt fence. Silt fence is used to reduce soil erosion where construction activities have disturbed the land.

With warmest regards,
Paul Bauer
