#79 – April 8, 2019 – A Great Burst of Activity!

Dear Friends,

Following the Bhandara Event, there has been a great burst of seva activity on Ishwar’s Dera construction project in Bruce, Wisconsin!

As the 2019 work season opened on the Maintenance Shed & Greenhouse, dozens of volunteers converged on the ISHA property to offer volunteer service to Ishwar. Conditions on the ground were cool and wet, with some snow and ice remaining on site, but all the sevadars were eager to get to work.

The early arrivals open the building and begin to prepare the site for the season ahead.

One of the first tasks is to remove thousands of pounds of lumber and steel siding from inside the building.

The big sheet of ice that had formed outside the front doors was attacked by hardy volunteers armed with picks and shovels.

Piles of wood are moved and carefully restacked.

Lunchtime!

The ISHA vehicles and equipment are brought out of winter storage.

A sevadar installs wiring for the garage lights.

A volunteer Bobcat operator moves dirt to improve drainage at the site.

These happy sevadars are putting together the new wheelbarrows.

And, at the end of a cold day, muddy workers warm their backsides.

Work is continuing on the Maintenance Shed & Greenhouse. The next blog will continue the story.

With warmest regards,
Paul Bauer
