Dear Friends,
ISHA’s dera property in Wisconsin was walloped by some early storms this year, resulting in about 18 inches of snow on the ground. The scene was set for our local photographers to take action … from the ground, and from the air.
Here’s a ground-based shot of the greenhouse and garage. The sloped roofs have kept most of the snow from accumulating on the building.
An aerial shot of the full moon rising over the snowy dera property.
The parking lot at moonrise.
This winter, ISHA will be attempting to keep the roads plowed. In this photo, snow plowing has begun at the main entrance.
The open area in the middle of this photo is the ISHA Hill excavation, where the Meeting Hall dome will be built. Highway 40 cuts across the lower left, and the Chippewa River runs through the trees in the middle distance.
This drone shot of the Chippewa River just south of the dera shows some unusual geometric designs in the ice forming on the water.
With warmest regards,
