Dear Friends,
As winter comes to an end at Ishwar’s Dera in Wisconsin, it’s time to schedule your 2025 visit! This year could be a great opportunity for all of Ishwar’s friends to offer their services to help build the Dera on his hallowed ground. And, a great opportunity to greet old friends!
All are invited to visit any time between May 1 and November 1 this year.
There are also two special, 4-day events planned on:
Memorial Day, May 23 — 26, 2025
Mitti Seva, September 19 — 22, 2025
In either case, please let us know when you will be visiting by emailing dera.seva@ishanews.org.
For 2025, in addition to the garden (where there are always helpers needed!), ISHA has an ever-lengthening list of other seva activities focused on maintaining and improving the dera property. They include:
New construction projects, such as the bunkhouse and the bathhouse
Painting
Landscaping
Repairing fences
Clearing downed trees and branches
Repairing roads and trails
Repair and maintenance of buildings
Cleaning kitchen and office
Weed control
Lawn mowing
Equipment and vehicle maintenance and repair
