Dear Friends,<\/span><\/p>\n

This week, volunteers continue to frame up the Maintenance Shed on Ishwar\u2019s project in Bruce, Wisconsin.<\/span><\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Workers were busy installing the heavy beam that spans the building and then fastening in the long, wooden rafters that will support the roof.<\/span><\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
The mighty sevadars take a break after raising this 900-pound beam.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Here, the team is framing the roof of the garage bays with 2×10 inch planks.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
The rafters over the garage bays have been completed.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
And now work has begun on the rafters over the loft.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
At the end of the day, and more rafters to install tomorrow.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Of course, framing is only one of many sevadar activities happening on the property these days.<\/span><\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Picking apples to make apple juice for the workers.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Planting Hostas, a lovely shade-tolerant foliage plant.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Preparing holes for apple trees that will be planted in the spring.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
And, after each day of work, the sevadars gather to share a meal that is prepared with love and devotion \u2026 and fresh garden vegetables.<\/span><\/div>\n
